To book, please arrange for one member of your group to purchase on behalf of the group.

Bookings are limited, so we recommend securing your experience well in advance to avoid missing out.

MUSTER-DOG DISPLAY

With Dave Crawford and the Numby Working Dogs.

$320 for 1.5 hours

 

Meet the canine team at Numby and watch them work livestock. Dave Crawford has been passionate about working dogs for nearly 2 decades and these skills have been an integral part of successfully managing the steep terrain at Numby.

 

Dave breeds the dogs, trains them and competes at dog trials including NSW and Australian championships. Learn about each dogs strengths, personality, achievements and the "blue-tooth" connection between dog and handler. Meet champions like "Chuck" a NSW Cattle Dog Maiden Champion, and "Skye," a Huntaway imported from New Zealand. Watch these talented dogs in action, working livestock, and, if you're lucky, meet some of their adorable puppies!​

AFTERNOON WITH THE ARTIST

With Stephanie Corkhill Hyles

$400 per person for 5 hours (min of 6 people). Includes all materials.

Settle into an inspiring day with Steph as you explore your own creative interpretation of the surrounding landscape at Rove Numby. Through colour, texture and mixed media techniques, Steph will guide you to notice shape, light and feeling in the landscape, then translate those impressions into a personal artwork. Over five relaxed hours, you will be gently guided through the creative process from first marks to final details, building confidence as you layer colour, experiment with materials and develop your own mixed media piece to take home. No painting experience is needed; this experience is designed to be welcoming, playful and restorative, with a focus on slowing down, connecting with place and enjoying the moment. About: Stephanie Corkhill Hyles is a regional Australian artist, educator, author and creative mentor based on a sheep and wool property near Jugiong, NSW. With more than 25 years’ experience teaching and exhibiting across regional Australia, Steph’s work is inspired by colour, connection, rural life and the healing power of creativity. Her relaxed and uplifting art sessions encourage guests to slow down, create freely and connect with the landscape in a meaningful way. Steph’s work is exhibited throughout regional NSW and her workshops are grounded in warmth, authenticity and joy.

PILATES

Sharee's Pilates Class

$320 per group for 1 hour

 

T​he perfect blend of strength, flexibility, and mindful movement.

About Sharee: With 22 years of experience and a deep passion for fitness in rural communities like Boorowa, Sharee specialises in mat-based Pilates for beginners and intermediate levels. Her classes focus on core activation, alignment, and controlled movements to enhance balance, coordination, and overall well-being. Whether you're looking for a gentle stretch or a more dynamic workout, Sharee can customise your session to meet your groups needs. Round out your stay at Rove Numby with a Pilates session to lengthen and strengthen your muscles and feel in tip top form on Monday!​​

COD AND COUNTRY

Fish the private waterholes on Numbys Lachlan river frontage.

$500 for 1/2 day or $1000 for a full day

For up to 4 people​

This is tried and tested water for catching (big) Murray cod, yellow belly and silver perch. ​A full day of fishing will cover 2-3 waterholes. A half day experience will cover either an early morning or evening at the river (the best time to fish) and will be at one waterhole.  Riverside catering is included. ​Your fishing guide Brad Taylor is a local and has been fishing this stretch of river since he was a kid.  Brad has also worked at Numby and the local farms for many years and has many a yarn to tell of working on the land. Available in Autumn only- Cod fishing is prohibited during Spring (due to Murray cod breeding season). Strictly catch and release. Please enquire about Spring fishing experiences.

MASSAGE

Restorative massage with Angela 

$500 for 2.5 hour session- divided amongst your group as you wish.

About Angela: Ange is a local from Binalong (near Boorowa) who grew up in Cobar and Brewarrina. Her qualifications include a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science and a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Angela is experienced in extensive manipulative therapies and also Exercise Rehabilitation in both preventative exercise strategies and post musculoskeletal injuries. Her knowledge ranges from chronic disease patients to elite athletes, she has worked with NSW Netball, ACT Brumbies, the local Yass Rams and Binalong Brahmans.

A range of guided walks are available across private grazing country, from 2-hour explorations to full-day immersive hikes- weather permitting.
